♃︎ ♅︎ Jupiter sextile Uranus
★★★★★Psychology & sentiment
Two slow planets — Jupiter (expansion, optimism, faith and excess) and Uranus (disruption, innovation, rebellion and sudden change) — open a door that rewards deliberate effort. These are generational signatures that shape the mood of an entire era, not a week.
Market tendency
Rare slow-planet aspects bracket multi-month, sometimes multi-year risk-regime turns. The exact date is a focal point; the influence bleeds across the whole window and beyond.
Historical impact per asset (last ~15 years)
| Asset | Avg return | Vol Δ | Best / worst | Hit rate | Direction | Sample |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| S&P 500 | +2.12% | +25%(75%↑) | +6.6%/-8.5% | 75% | ↑ Up-bias | n=4 |
| VIX (equity vol) | +6.10% | +54%(100%↑) | +73.0%/-27.8% | 75% | ↓ Down-bias | n=4 |
| Gold | +0.98% | +2%(50%↑) | +10.5%/-6.5% | 50% | Mixed | n=4 |
| US 20y | -1.95% | +16%(50%↑) | +2.4%/-6.0% | 75% | ↓ Down-bias | n=4 |
| USD | +1.04% | +22%(75%↑) | +2.8%/-0.9% | 50% | Mixed | n=4 |
Vol Δ = average change in that instrument’s realised volatility (stdev of daily returns) during the window vs the three weeks before it — amber = vol expanded (bigger swings), blue = vol contracted (calmer). The (n%↑) is how often it expanded. The VIX row is the equity fear gauge itself — a positive average there means implied volatility historically rose into this event.

Bitcoin — live chart reading
Updated 01 Aug 2026, 06:23 UTCHappening now
Right now, transiting Mars is separating from a trine with natal Neptune (0.2° orb); transiting Neptune is separating from a square with natal Mars (0.2° orb); transiting Mars is separating from a square with natal Saturn (0.4° orb). The tightest is now separating — its peak has passed and the effect is fading.

Coming up: Neptune square natal Mars around 2026-08-05 (4d away); Mars trine natal Venus around 2026-08-11 (10d away); Mars opposition natal Pluto around 2026-08-14 (13d away).
Takeaway — theme & posture
For Bitcoin, the dominant signature is transiting Mars trine natal Neptune — a theme of a burst of volatility, aggression and momentum, playing out through speculative manias, fog and fraud, oil & gas, and the quiet unwinding of froth. A supportive, low-resistance contact — the theme flows more easily. Fast two-way moves — good for momentum, risky for passive holds; keep it tactical.
How to read the wheel: the twelve segments are the zodiac signs. Gold symbols on the outer ring are Bitcoin’s natal planets — frozen at its inception (2009-01-03). Blue symbols on the inner ring are today’s planets (transits), which move a little every day. Coloured lines mark exact angles between a moving planet and a natal one: gold = conjunction (fusion), red = opposition (tension), orange = square (friction), green = trine (ease), blue = sextile (opportunity). When a fast line lands on a natal planet, that’s a timing trigger.

Bitcoin last time(s) = the asset’s own average return in the ~2 weeks around every prior occurrence of that exact transit-to-natal aspect in its Yahoo price history (n = sample size). Slow-planet transits recur rarely, so samples are small — read as flavour, not a base rate.

What this is
Financial astrology treated as a probabilistic timing overlay — never a standalone reason to act. The tool computes upcoming celestial events using a simplified ephemeris (planet positions accurate to under a degree), identifies date windows where major asset classes have historically shown elevated volatility or a directional bias around similar configurations, and shows both the mechanical calendar and the statistical read side-by-side.
The events on the timeline
- Retrograde windows — start / peak / end for Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Mercury retrograde is the classic "choppy tape" flag; slow-planet retrogrades are lower-frequency, higher-impact.
- Sign ingresses — the date a slow planet moves into a new zodiac sign. Ingresses of Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto historically mark multi-year theme shifts. Cardinal-sign ingresses (Aries / Cancer / Libra / Capricorn) get an extra significance point.
- Moon phases — new and full moons. Individually minor; useful as short-term timing confirmation when they stack with other signals.
- Outer-planet aspects — conjunctions, oppositions, trines and squares between Jupiter and beyond. Rare and consequential — the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction is a ~20-year event; Uranus-Pluto aspects mark structural regime turns.
Historical correlation — how to read the numbers
For each event type we scan the last 10-15 years for past instances, fetch the daily close for the S&P 500, gold, Bitcoin, US 20-year Treasuries and the dollar index over each window, and compute the per-instance return. The table shows the average, the best and worst instance, the hit rate in the dominant direction, and the sample size. A row that reads “S&P 500 −0.4% avg, down-bias, 58% hit, n=42” means: across 42 past instances of this window, the S&P closed lower 58% of the time with an average return of −0.4% during the window. That is a mild historical tilt, not a forecast.
Natal charts
An instrument’s natal chart is the sky at its inception — Bitcoin’s genesis block, Ethereum’s Frontier launch, the S&P 500’s inception, the moment fiat replaced gold in 1971. In financial astrology, current planet positions activating those natal placements are thought to correspond with meaningful price action. The wheel shows the natal planets on the outer ring in gold, current transits on the inner ring in blue, and coloured lines for the exact aspects between them today.
How to use it
The tool is designed to be usable at two levels. For a beginner: sort the timeline by significance, look at the correlation columns to see which upcoming windows have historically leaned bullish or bearish for the assets you care about, and use those as a diary of dates when volatility may pick up. For a working analyst: use the natal wheels as a secondary confirmation for entries in specific instruments — an active transit-to-natal aspect in Bitcoin’s chart is one more piece of the confluence stack alongside Motion and Time.
Methodology & sources
Planet positions are computed on-device using a simplified heliocentric-to-geocentric Keplerian solver (Paul Schlyter’s method) accurate to under a degree — more than enough to identify zodiac sign, retrograde direction and aspects within their standard orbs. Historical asset prices are pulled from Yahoo Finance on each revalidate. The page revalidates every 6 hours; the underlying ephemeris and correlation tables re-compute on each render.
In the MTS framework
Financial astrology is the most discretionary input in Space. The dashboard’s job is to make it empirical: date windows are objective (ephemeris), historical correlation is objective (Yahoo returns), and only the choice of how to weight the read remains discretionary. Where a window shows a strong historical tilt in the direction Motion and Time already agree with, that’s confluence. Where the tilt disagrees, size smaller. Never a standalone trigger.
